Four hours for yourself beloved on New Year's Eve, or Where to go to look stunning

Having well weighed the pros and cons, the Russian Emirates recommend going straight to SensAsia Spa for these New Year and Christmas holidays

December 23-25. Dubai December 30-31. January 5-7. In the same place.

It is a bit cloudy on the street and crowded in numerous shops, whose windows, like New Year's garlands, are hung with the alluring words "discount". The craziness of many days for the beautiful things of a woman. Counters, things, changing rooms, faces, money, checks, packages in ten rows. There’s no time to even drink coffee!

From somewhere out of the distant corners of memory clogged with shopping plans, a memory pops up about a holiday where you need to be not just beautiful, but stunning. In the meantime, only fatigue is knocked down. And so it will be. Give the deadline! After all, the holidays are just around the corner, and the Dubai Trade Festival is in full swing. Therefore, we cannot do without professional help in returning to excellent status.

Having well weighed the pros and cons, the Russian Emirates recommend going straight to SensAsia Spa for these New Year and Christmas holidays. The coveted place in the "heart" of Dubai, where every millimeter of air is saturated with incredible aromas of essences.

Firstly, one can feel how much people are in love with their work: starting with the mistress of Salina and ending with charming therapist girls from Thailand. Secondly, the SensAsia Spa menu occupies several voluminous pages and provides an opportunity to try the procedures from all over Asia. Thirdly, the price-quality ratio here always outweighs the latter. And, in the end, they prepare an amazing ginger-honey drink that you want to drink with teapots, and not with small Asian cups. It is also very quiet here.

Having previously driven myself to a half-fainting state at work (in order to actually verify the effectiveness of the procedures), I went to SensAsia Spa with a request to bring me back to life and a gala banquet in the evening. The consultant prescribed two procedures for me - More Than Perfect Rose Facial ("More than an ideal face wash with roses") and The Balinese Spice Experience ("Balinese body procedure with spices"). I was especially pleased that SensAsia Spa only works on products based on essential oils, because I love and perceive this world in many ways through my sense of smell and love natural cosmetics.

The first paragraph of the program sounded tempting, considering that the More Than Perfect Rose Facial on aromatherapy products by Aromatherapy Associates stubbornly holds the first line of preferences of Hollywood "stars". And what girl doesn’t want to be ennobled like Gwyneth Paltrow?

The fact that facial cleansing begins with a massage of the feet, previously washed in warm milk with rose petals, first surprised and then delighted: a warm wave of negation instantly captured the body, relaxing muscles and immersed in a drowsy state. Further, a therapist named Ace (Thai, to my surprise, speaks excellent English), selects aromatic components specifically for my skin type. Her task is to return to my face the beauty and tenderness of a young bud in 90 minutes of the procedure. And all this to the accompaniment of a stunningly rich intoxicating aroma of damask rose.

First, the skin is cleansed and moisturized with milk and rose-based products. This is followed by a deep massage of the face and neck, which relieves tension and gives the skin elasticity. While the fragrant mask, which can rejuvenate before my eyes, is absorbed and works, Ace begins to massage my hands and feet with rose oil. The second mask is accompanied by a massage of the neck and head. While I was hovering in the gardens of Damascus, drunk with blooming buds, trying to enjoy every rose, Ace managed to walk through my tired body so masterfully that I still did not understand whether it was a face peel or a procedure for the whole body.

Without using any mechanical and hardware cleaning techniques, only massage and the great power of rose essences, Ace so cleansed my face as if it had been removed from its shell! The skin glowed and completely incredibly fragrant. However, the whole body was fragrant and I wanted to wrap myself in a robe and enjoy doing nothing.

But ahead of me was a wrap with spices, a traditional procedure from the island of Bali, used to harmonize the flow of energy. Since ancient times, Balinese have used essences of sandalwood, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and rice to relieve stress and the first signs of a cold.

At the first stage, the whole body is methodically, continuously and thoroughly massaged with an absolutely natural mixture of carrots, herbs and spices. Carrots draw toxins from the skin, spices create deep heat, instantly warming the muscles with fire, and cloves and rice polish the skin. It even gets a little cool from the internal heat, but the therapist in time covers me with two blankets (the inborn northern chills make itself felt) and wraps me in a cocoon, where I feel warm and comfortable. While I am in the state of a larva, Ace once again massages the skin of my head, which is always useful for intellectual stress.

After a shower, conveniently located right at the foot of my bed (the steps are lined with towels), it seems that the skin burns even under cold water, although by tactile sensations it became soft, like a baby. In order to maintain softness, elasticity and radiance, which are so necessary when entering the light, a special Balinese paste made from carrots and avocados is rubbed into the skin.

At the moment when Ace began to do another massage, I was in a state of divine sleep, and did not want to return to reality. Massage with a combination of essential oils of ylang-ylang, chamomile and blossoming orange did its miraculous job: twenty minutes later I was overwhelmed with energy and the desire to dance for at least five hours in a row.

Preparation for the evening event was carried out one hundred percent. After drinking a whole teapot of ginger-honey drink, I jumped out under the cloudy Dubai sky with a wide smile and suddenly realized that there were two more weeks before the New Year, and I would like it to come right tonight!
