The ABU DHABI CLASSICS festival is an unforgettable journey into the world of music, which will give connoisseurs of classics the most vivid impressions of this fall. French pianist and actress Lydia Solomon and famous violinist Gidon Kremer will open the concert season with their debut in Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Classics festival reopens the music season in Abu Dhabi. After a three-year break, a new concert program with the participation of world celebrities will be presented to residents and guests of the emirate. A series of classical concerts will be held in the city of Abu Dhabi, on the island of Saadiyat, as well as in the cultural and historical center of the emirate - the city of Al Ain.

The concert season will begin in October and will end only in May next year and will be devoted to the theme of "Travel", because it will include performances by the best musicians from around the world. Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnun Al Nahyan, head of the Department of Tourism and Culture of Abu Dhabi, said: "We have been waiting for the return of this festival, because its holding plays a huge role both for the emirate and for the world community as a whole. In addition, it one more step towards becoming Abu Dhabi one of the world's cultural centers. "

This season, 12 concerts are planned, at which representatives of 20 countries will perform. In subsequent years, the program is planned to be expanded further to meet the growing cultural needs of residents and guests of Abu Dhabi.

On October 14, the famous works of Chopin performed by the talented pianist Lydia Solomon, who will perform in the UAE capital for the first time, will be heard on the island of Saadiyat in the cultural center of Manarat. On October 28, a concert by the Kremerata Baltica Chamber Orchestra under the guidance of renowned violinist Gidon Kremer will be presented at the Abu Dhabi Theater. In addition to the concert program, music workshops and educational seminars for students of musical educational institutions of Abu Dhabi will be held as part of the festival.

At the end of the festival in May next year, an open winner will select the winner who will receive the Classics Music Awards.
