Safari Park will be completed in 2016

DUBAI SAFARI LONG-WAITED DRAFT PROJECT IS IMPLEMENTED BY 30%. OPENING OF THE PARK IS PLANNED FOR THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2016.

The grandiose project to build a Dubai safari park worth 1 billion dirhams of the UAE (US $ 2 73 972 603) will cover an area of 119 hectares. The new park, which will be located in the Dubai A1 area of Warqa'a, opposite the Dragon Mart shopping center, will replace the Dubai Zoo zoo, which has existed for many years. A large-scale plan for the movement of about a thousand animals was developed and repeatedly revised by the Dubai Municipality for a decade, postponing the opening of the Dubai Safari Park, the construction of which was first announced in 2009.

Solar energy will be used to generate electricity and provide an irrigation system throughout the park. For irrigation of the park, purified treated water will be used. The parking area for visitors will occupy an area of 9.4 hectares with a total of 3,600 parking spaces. Also in the park it will be possible to use environmentally friendly transport: trams, bicycles and electric vehicles.
