The requirement for a gap between visas for a period of one month is thereby canceled, an expired visa can be extended by one month, for which it will be necessary to submit an application for an extension before its expiration. The new rule applies to all types of visas, including transit visas, short-term (one month) and long-term (90 days) guest visas, student visas, visas received for medical treatment. It also unifies the procedure for changing the type of visa from short to resident for a fee without the need to leave the country. Now changing the type of visa without leaving the country is available for all types of short-term visas.
