WILDLIFE CENTER AL HEFAIYAH MOUNTAIN CONSERVATION CENTER LOCATED IN THE HACJAR MOUNTAINS IN SHARJA, MARCH 6 OFFICIALLY STARTED ITS WORK FOR TOURISTS, SCHOOLS AND OTHER CATEGORIES.
The opening ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, ruler of Sharjah. Conservation Center, covering an area of 12 km2, was created in order to protect endangered species of mountain animals.
Some animals will be located directly in the center, while others will move freely in the mountains. Al Hefaiyah has become home to the endangered South Arabian leopard. Among other endangered species in the center will live the Arabian wolf, striped hyena and Arabian
