Dubai Municipality is raffling off iPad and Apple Watch among residents who refrain from traveling in their own car this Sunday.
Refusing to travel on a personal car on a Day without a car in Dubai will help win an iPad or Apple Watch. Such a rally is held by the Municipality in honor of its initiative on Sunday.
Khalid Badri, director of corporate marketing and communications, said that a decision was made to encourage more people to participate in an annual event aimed at raising awareness of environmental pollution caused by vehicles.
Among the gifts to be raffled are the iPad Mini 5, Apple Watch and coupons for other valuable items.
The competition is open to all residents who go to work on the Day without a car on public transport or on foot. To participate, you must register on the municipality's website www.dm.gov.ae and be subscribed to the body’s pages on social networks. Participants must take a picture or video of how they travel by public transport, bicycle or walk and add the hashtag #DubaiCarFreeDay when publishing. Next, they must post material on Instagram indicating the account of the Dubai Municipality @dubaimunicipality.
