Operator du offers free Wi-Fi in the United Arab Emirates at this Eid al Fitr.

The du carrier will provide residents and guests of the UAE with free Wi-Fi access for seven days in honor of Eid al-Fitr. From more than 400 locations in the country, from June 12 to 18, WiFi UAE will operate at a speed "10 times higher than usual," the statement said.

Access can be obtained in various places, including the Dubai metro and tram, shopping centers, parks and beaches.

This initiative is part of the #KeepOnGiving campaign, which encourages people to do things for others during the holy month. Du also offers WiFi UAE service in six mosques throughout the UAE.

Fahad Al-Khasawi, Telco Services Deputy General Manager, EITC parent company du said: “Providing free high-speed Wi-Fi to this Eid al-Fitr is another proof of our unwavering support for the UAE government to achieve public WiFi access nationwide according to Vision 2021 concepts. "

Wi-Fi UAE is available to all users. The service offers two types of Internet connection: WiFi UAE Free and WiFi UAE Premium. The former offers free, limited speed access, while the latter offers a high-speed connection for a fee.

At the beginning of this year, du also introduced new tariffs for short-term use of the Internet: 10 dirhams ($ US 2.7) for 4 hours of use during the day, 25 dirhams ($ US 6.8) for 12 hours for three days and 50 Dirhams ($ US 13.6) - 32 hours in 10 days.
