The bus route between the two main cities of the UAE - Dubai and Abu Dhabi began to be served by modern superior buses equipped with a toilet, a video system and wireless Internet connection.
The first bus of the new type already started running from Dubai to Abu Dhabi in early February, according to representatives of the Dubai Roads and Transport Committee (RTA), which allocated 128 million dirhams (US $ 35.5 million) for the purchase of superior buses for intercity messages. The fare is 20 dirhams (US $ 5), which is slightly more than the fare on a regular city bus. Today, the RTA has 10 comfortable buses that will serve routes from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. During the current year, the park will expand to 55 buses, and everyone will have the opportunity to comfortably move between Dubai, Fujairah and Ras Al-Kheima.
