The Picturehouse "private" cinema for non-profit movie lovers

The first professional cinema in the history of the United Arab Emirates for lovers of non-profit and auteur cinema has opened at the cinema center of the Dubai Mall. The cinema hall opened under the The Picturehouse brand promises to please arthouse lovers with a diverse repertoire of classic paintings, works of contemporary film directors and actors from different countries, as well as from the “golden fund” of Arabian cinema. For example, for the premiere show at The Picturehouse, the film’s nominee for the Sundance Paper Heart film festival by Nicolas Jasenovec and the journalist Roxanne Saber’s special prize “Nobody Knows About Persian Cats” (No One Knows) received a special prize About Persian Cats).

A small room is designed for a maximum of 100 spectators, which makes the process of watching a good movie more comfortable and intimate. The Picturehouse brand first appeared in Singapore in 1990, where it played a large role in shaping the country's film industry and public preferences for cinema.
