Watches for divers Aquascope by Jean Richard

Swiss watchmaker Jean Richard of Neuchatel introduced the latest diving watch model Aquascope. Like all watches made by Jean Richard, it is equipped with a JR1000 movement movement. This model was created to pay tribute to the unique diving watches that were created by Jean Richard in the 60s of the last century.

The stainless steel case, with a “barrel-shaped” shape of the dial, measures 44.50 mm x 40 mm x 11.85 mm. Convex glass with a colorless anti-reflective coating. Water resistance of the model is 300 meters. To control the diving time, the bezel has a 60-minute scale.

The bezel rotates with clicks every half minute and makes 120 clicks per full revolution. It is interesting to note that the bezel is bi-directional, while a diver’s watch usually has a unidirectional bezel. In addition, the bezel cannot accidentally turn without first unscrewing the head to the 9 o’clock position. The luminescent divisions of the Arabic numerals, pointers on the dial and the marker on the bezel provide the ability to see data while diving to great depths.

When creating the watch, 27 precious stones were used. Power reserve is 48 hours. The watch is equipped with a strap made of white or black treated calfskin with a polished stainless steel buckle.
