Just about an hour by car from Dubai, and we find ourselves in a clean, quiet seaside "village", with all the conditions of urban comfort, combined with the pristine nature of the local nature and opportunities for outdoor activities that meet the best international standards. Low, nondescript buildings are replaced by new buildings in the form of similar, but fashionable villas, in a picturesque environment of green spaces - this is the new quarter of Al Hamra Village, where mainly European expatriates live. You can stay in a five-star hotel nearby, but we chose to rent a studio in one of the high-rise buildings - a luxuriously furnished room with sea views, no worse than a hotel room, but rather better, but, importantly, cheaper. Where did they come from? And this, during the period of the construction boom in the Emirates, many foreign investors invested in relatively inexpensive real estate of the little-known Ras Al Khaimah and, surprisingly, did not fail.
The capital of the remote emirate, in spite of the crisis, is slowly but surely developing, acquiring all kinds of entertainment complexes, modernizing its infrastructure and expanding its free economic zone RAK FTZ, thus attracting more and more foreign investors. Which, in turn, continue to buy apartments in local new buildings, renting out their visitors for long-term rent or for rent. Each residential complex has its own parking lot and a huge swimming pool with sunbeds. In general, all the amenities. Of course, the resettlement in such apartments has its drawbacks. The club has a bar and a restaurant with an outdoor terrace, where it is so pleasant to sip your morning coffee while admiring the yachts, or sit in the evening with a hookah on a comfortable sofa, enjoying the fresh sea breeze. In addition to the picturesque views, there is an excellent kitchen with various types of charcoal barbecue, and karaoke live music on Thursdays and Fridays. The club offers owners of yachts, boats and boats a spacious harbor with 200 parking spaces, and its service center provides a full range of services for the repair and tuning of boat hulls and their engines. The club’s list of additional services also includes a variety of washing and cleaning of ships, including cleaning the underwater hull from overgrown shells and algae.
Especially for those who have not yet acquired this symbol of luxury, but are seriously going to do it in the near future, the club operates yachting courses licensed by the National Transport Authority of the UAE (National Transport Authority). So, before you go to sea, do not forget to get a yacht skipper diploma! Unfortunately, we don’t have our own yacht yet, so we took advantage of the invitation of the local captain and went fishing in the bay on one of the club motorboats. And, even despite the fact that the bite that day was not the most successful, we got an incredible pleasure from a boat trip. Water, sun, wind - what else is needed to feel the fullness of life? Summarizing all of the above, we recall that the Al Hamra club organizes and holds regattas, competitions, concerts, festivals, corporate events, weddings, banquets, excursions, cruises and much more on its territory and with the participation of the ships of its own flotilla, which has at its disposal a wide selection - from sports boats and boats to a 30-meter luxury yacht.
