And after that the unprecedented prosperity of the kingdom began, parables about which passed through the religious vaults of Christians, Muslims and Jews. After all, the ruler has surpassed in his wealth the kings of all the lands for many centuries.


The month of Ramadan coming in July refers us to one of the five main pillars of Islam - “zakat,” or the mandatory annual tax in favor of the poor, those in need, or to disseminate religious knowledge. It is paid, inter alia, from gold and jewelry, and is a model of mercy, sympathy and selfless help to one's neighbor - those virtues for which, however, there is no better or worse time.
