September 2 at the Russian International School (Russian International School) hosted a solemn line dedicated to the start of a new school year.
The honored guests arrived in the person of: Gocha Levanovich Buachidze, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, to congratulate the students, the teaching staff and the school administration; Najibullah Najip, owner of Russian International School; Father Superior Alexander, Rector of the Parish of St. Apostle Philip in the UAE; Sergey Tokarev, representative of organizations of Russian compatriots in the Middle East and Africa at the World Coordinating Council of Russian compatriots.
The national anthem of the United Arab Emirates and the UAE sounded at the ceremonial line, the flags of the two countries were raised by the best students. With words of welcome and warm wishes addressed to the teachers, students and their parents, the consul general of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the northern emirates Gocha Levanovich Buachidze and the school director Marina Borisovna Halikova addressed the audience. Then the long-awaited first bell rang, and the guys went to their classes to classes.
Dubai Russian International School was founded in 1996. As of today, it is the only school in the UAE where teaching is conducted in Russian in full accordance with secondary education programs approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the UAE. In addition, extracurricular work with children is actively conducted in the Russian school, various evenings and holidays, sports competitions are held, and interest groups are working.
