Forward to the future

RECENTLY, THE DUBAI AUTHORITIES ANNOUNCED THE INTENTION TO BUILD THE BIGGEST SHOPPING CENTER ON THE PLANET IN THE CITY. UNDER THIS PARADISE FOR LOVERS OF SHOPPING, COVERED BY A GLASS DOME FOR REGULATING THE TEMPERATURE, THE UNFAST SIZES WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF THE FIVE MILLION SQUARE METERS.

According to the architects, Mall of the World will become a real "city in the city" - its length will be 7 kilometers. This will be the first fully pedestrian city in the world under a huge glass dome - in the summer the temperature in the complex will be regulated by huge air conditioners, but in winter the dome will be removed so that the city exists in the open. It is planned to build about 50 thousand parking spaces, in general, this largest shopping and entertainment complex in Dubai will be able to accommodate up to 15 thousand visitors at a time and will attract about 180 million visitors a year.

As His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister, Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, stated at the presentation of Mall of the World, “Our ambitions extend far beyond seasonal tourism. Tourism is a key factor in the growth of our economy, and we want so that the UAE attracts guests all year round. Therefore, we are working on the possibility of regulating the temperature and establishing pleasant temperature conditions in the summer months. We are confident in our economy and are optimistic about the future of the country. "

This ambitious project will be implemented taking into account all possible environmental norms and rules prescribed by the state program Smart Dubai. In order to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, the construction of the complex will use the most modern and advanced technologies.

Inside will be a huge theme park. The so-called Cultural District (Dubai Cultural District) will be the focus of national and international cultural events and holidays. In a special theater district, performances will be staged no worse than on the theatrical stages of the London West End and New York Broadway. The Celebration Walk, reminiscent of La Rambla in Barcelona, connects the Cultural District with the main part of the complex. The Cultural District will also have many halls for conferences, weddings and other celebrations that can entertain sophisticated audiences from all over the world.

Another key part of the Mall of the World complex is the Health Territory, for which about 300 thousand square meters are currently allocated. Here, patients will be offered a holistic approach to healing, including qualified medical care, specialized surgical operations, cosmetic and anti-aging procedures, as well as high-quality service.

Recall that recently, the Dubai authorities announced that they intend to turn the city into a medical tourism center by 2020, and those who come for treatment will be offered a special package of services that includes visas of various types depending on the type of treatment, as well as staying in discounted hotel rates.

Well, shopping lovers will enjoy a whole 7-km long street of shops for all tastes all year round, and most importantly - in a pleasant coolness. Tourists will be able to stay in the complex for at least a week.
