The carpet is the most archaic and strong visual object of the culture of the East. If calligraphy, stained glass, and miniature still carry a certain semantic load, then the carpet has become just a piece of decor. And that means it's time to breathe new life into it. Blurring the boundaries of forms and meanings, Faig Ahmed, by his own admission, "tickles the very heart of culture." And he does it on a subconscious level. "I see no boundaries. My work does not need intelligence - just intuition. If you have something revolutionary, then you will like my work. Many criticize me. But the concept of my reality is intended for those who are not afraid to change and break the old system. With respect to art, you always have to trust your intuition, ”says Faig.
Work on the next masterpiece begins with a computer program in which you can apply an infinite number of special effects to any image. The Azerbaijani author has already managed to fall in love with the Dubai audience: visitors to the Art Dubai exhibition could see his work in 2012, and last winter he held a solo exhibition at the Fairmont The Palm hotel.
