When you hold in your hands the latest issue of our magazine, the New Year holidays will be celebrated and 2014 will be a thing of the past. But now, when I write these lines, the yard is only mid-December, and the events of the rapidly flying autumn are still fresh in my memory, the program of which turned out to be more than saturated. After a relative summer lull, the events fell in abundance - here is the meeting of the World Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots in China, the Assembly of the Russian World in Sochi, and the World Thematic Conference "World War I and the Fates of Compatriots" in Moscow, and of course , The first Russian-Seychelles business forum, which took place, naturally, in the Seychelles. And these are only events related to foreign trips and flights.
But the most important event of this fall took place nevertheless in Dubai. In the previous issue of the magazine, I already wrote that 2014 was a jubilee year for our company, and in October this year a solemn chord sounded - on October 30, in honor of its 10th anniversary, the Russian Emirates Publishing House held a grand reception in the banquet hall of the famous Jumeirah Hotel Beach Hotel & Spa. We have come to this for many years, through successes and failures, through difficulties and accomplishments, and therefore the celebration of our anniversary can rightfully be called the main event of not only autumn, but the whole year. Numerous friends and partners of the Russian Emirates Publishing House, ambassadors and consuls of the CIS countries in the UAE, representatives of state, municipal and public organizations, and, of course, we are all employees of the company and all those who another time was part of the friendly team of "Russian Emirates".
We were very pleased to accept official congratulations from Alexander Efimov, Russian Ambassador to the UAE, Igor Egorov, Chairman of the Russian Council of Entrepreneurs in the UAE, to hear words of support and approval from all those who were with us this evening. On that day, handing memorable gifts to the employees of our company, I already said that they are the best. But now, when the 55th issue of the magazine “Business Emirates” and the 68th edition of the guide “Keys of the East”, when the 65th issue of the magazine “Russian Emirates” is being prepared for release, have already been released, I want to say it again - thanks to our to the team, thanks to our partners and friends, you are now holding the best magazine from the largest publishing house in Africa and the Middle East, which publishes Russian-language magazines.
