Restaurant Overview

Gold on 27

The new bar, located on the highest floor of the Burj Al Arab Hotel, overlooks Dubai. However, it’s worth a glimpse here not only because of the look, but also because of the talented masters of the art of mixology working here. Burj Al Arab is known for being not so easy to get here, but Gold on 27 set out to break this line: just reserve access to the bar through a special mobile application and you can freely go to the hotel. The dress code is also not so strict. Remaining true to its name, the institution is decorated in gold tones. The bar's embossed walls sparkle and light installations accentuate the Art Deco design. But the highlight of Gold on 27 is special cocktails. Using well-known brands and a special set of ingredients, including saffron, truffles, goat cheese, charcoal and foie gras, the mixologists team is ready to amaze the imagination of the most sophisticated audience. The average cost of drinks is AED 100-140, which is significantly lower than in many other hotels. Moreover, according to the leadership of the bar, local cocktails cannot be mixed in 20 minutes - the ingredients for them are prepared in a few days.

Indie Kitchen & Lounge

An incredible success at home in Beirut, Indie Kitchen & Lounge recently opened its doors in Dubai in the DIFC financial district. Its name, which comes from the word independent, best describes the idea and concept of the place.

Independence from generally accepted cliches, freedom of creativity and originality are felt here in everything - from design to the menu. The stylish room, illuminated by dozens of bulbs, is conditionally divided into several zones: a lounge, a restaurant and three bars.

On the menu, the chef collected the most interesting dishes from different countries and continents and effectively presented his author's interpretations. Do not be seduced by familiar names - the chef changes every recipe in his own way beyond recognition. For example, he complements the traditional Spanish appetizer of small green peppers pimententos del padron with a Japanese mixture of seven togarashi seasonings. In shrimp ceviche, the chef puts Peruvian corn and Thai mango, and the most popular Asian dish - crispy duck - is poured with traditional Chinese Hoisin sauce with a characteristic sweet taste and spicy aroma.
