In October 2018, the Dubai Opera House will host six performances of Swan Lake, staged by the Houston Ballet. This ballet, first performed in Moscow in 1877, tells the story of a girl whom the evil prince turns into a swan.
Tchaikovsky’s original music will be performed by a live orchestra, and the choreography of the performance was staged by the famous Australian dancer Stanton Welch. Houston Ballet is the fifth largest US ballet troupe, numbering 59 dancers, performing in the best theaters around the world.
