In honor of the tenth anniversary of the Emirates Airline literary festival, an evening of poetry will take place at the Dubai Opera House with the participation of famous poets. The event is part of the initiative “2017 year of cooperation between the UK and the UAE in the field of creativity”, which provides for a cultural exchange, so that poets from both countries will take part in this evening.
They have already announced their participation: the winner of many poetry contests in the UK, Carol Ann Duffy, the official poet of the London Olympics in 2012, Lemn Sissay, the first Arab poetess Afra Atik, as well as the writer and director Nujum Al Ghanem.
