Karl Lagerfeld and Vilebrequin, the famous French brand of swimwear from Saint-Tropez, are pleased to announce the launch of the capsule collection Summer 2017, which appeared as a result of their cooperation.
A limited edition eight-piece collection includes men's and women's bathing and beach items. The collection will be available worldwide at specific KARL LAGERFELD stores and at KARL.COM, as well as at Vilebrequin and vilebrequin.com stores, starting in May 2017.
Inspired by the iconic Riviera and coastlines, the collection is based on a vibrant blue hue that is offset by bursts and placers of white and black. The male part is represented by polo and swimming shorts in two variations: some for wearing with a flat belt, and others are inspired by the classic images of the 70s. The female part of the collection is represented by bikini, tunic and swimming shorts. Elements are complemented by a beach towel and a handbag with a zipper.
The design reflects Vilebrequin's love of “endless summer” fused with Karl Lagerfeld aesthetics, which are known to be elegant, modern and dazzling.
