Red Bull Academy of Music heads to Dubai

From April 12 to 15, the Red Bull Music Academy will be organized for the first time in Dubai, more than 30 international and regional celebrities will participate in its events.

The Academy at MusicHall will be opened by a Kuwaiti musician and director Zahed Sultan, who will showcase his Hiwar project (dialogue) at the junction between traditional Gulf music and contemporary sound.

On April 13th, The Black Madonna's DJ and creative director will be joined by electronic music author Moodymann in On42, Media One, along with Siamak Amidi and Shamrum of the Analog Room. World famous authors Azel Boman, graduates of Red Bull Music Academy London 2012 and DeWalta & Shannon, will also perform on this day with Peggy Go, Sam Farsio and Jay Sea Pinto. Other musicians will include Kode9, Ikonika, DJ Earl and Esserai from 264 Cru.

On Friday at 6 a.m., a sunrise session will be held on Kite Beach under the guidance of Dubai coach Pierre Ravan. Next will be the performance of musician Julianne Barvik. In addition, from 14.00 to 16.00 the musician Axel Boman will give a lecture. Several parties are organized at the Dubai Design District (d3). The headliner will be Earl Sweatshirt along with hip hop artists Danny Brown and Princess Nokia, as well as Jesse Lanza, Muhaisnah Four from Dubai and Aeli.

On Saturday, residents and guests of Dubai will have a performance by Danny Krivit and Andras at Tap House, Vista Vista Mare Club on The Palm. The concerts of both artists will be attended by Volcov, Dubai Megadon Betamax and James Locksmith.

The event will include the Beyond the Noise photo exhibition, which will begin on April 7 at d3 and allow you to take a look at the sea of ​​“sweat, blood, tears, effort, self-doubt and the forces that are present in the life of every musician.”

The Red Bull Academy of Music is an international music event aimed at developing diversity in music. Tickets are available on the Platinum List starting Monday 13 March.
