The United Arab Emirates has published a weekend schedule on the occasion of Eid al Fitra.
By order of the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, workers in the UAE's public sector will be given weekends next week.
The Eid al Fitra festival will begin on Sunday, June 2, and end on Thursday, June 6. The public sector will return to work on Sunday, June 9th.
It has not yet been announced how long private sector workers will rest.
