A park dedicated to the Qur'an opens in Dubai

A new theme park dedicated to the Muslim holy book has opened in Dubai.

Dubai, UAE. A new theme park dedicated to the Qur'an, the holy book of Muslims, has opened in Dubai's Al Khawaneej district. According to the Dubai municipality, on an area of ​​60 hectares, visitors can find 43 plants and the seven wonders of the Prophet mentioned in the Qur'an.

In addition to hiking, the park has jogging tracks. Entrance to the park is free, visitors can pay 10 dirhams to visit the Cave of Miracles and the Glass House - a greenhouse in which plants and herbs mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah are planted.

In total there are 12 gardens in the park, in which banana and olive palm trees, a vine, pomegranate and fig trees, as well as cucumbers, pumpkins, onions, garlic, ginger, melons, basil, tamarind, lentils, pond beans, etc. are planted. Special stands talk about how these herbs are used for cooking and for medical purposes.

The park is equipped with the latest technology: amenities include solar panels, high-speed Internet, covered benches and telephone charging stations.
