The Dubai-based retail giant is teaming with an American company that provides artificial intelligence technology.
Dubai-based retailer Majid Al Futtaim announces partnership with Los Angeles-based technology company I.AM +, founded by will.i.am.
In accordance with the agreement, I.AM + will offer Majid Al Futtaim its Omega platform, an interactive and contextual voice assistant based on artificial intelligence that will provide a new level of interaction with customers, the report said.
The Omega platform interacts with the customer through contextual prompts and helps in customer service.
Majid Al Futtaim's goal is to bring together physical and virtual customer experience.
As part of the new partnership, I.AM + announced the creation of ARC, a coalition of retailers, brands and service providers, users of the voice AI platform. Majid Al Futtaim is the first representative of the retail segment in this coalition.
