A rescue helicopter crashed in the mountains over the United Arab Emirates.
The rescue helicopter, on board of which the patient was in critical condition, crashed on the side of Mount Jebel Jais. According to preliminary information, all those on board died.
According to eyewitnesses, approximately at 5:15 pm on Saturday, December 29, the helicopter hit the steel cable of the Zipline entertainment attraction with a screw, after which it began to rotate uncontrollably around its axis, crashed into a mountainside and exploded.
Police representatives confirmed the crash, details of the disaster and information about the victims will be provided later.
The Zipline ride on Mount Jebel Jais, the highest peak in the UAE, is the longest cable slope in the world.
