The Louvre Abu Dhabi will be guarded by the tourist police

Tourist police will patrol the newly opened Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi police opened a tourist police office at the Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi, authorities announced Sunday.

The tourist police in the Louvre will provide a range of services in several languages. Police officers will inform tourists about the laws and regulations, and will protect events at the museum.

Colonel Omran Ahmed Al Mazruay said the opening of the office is part of a modernization and development effort that is designed to highlight the cultural component of the Abu Dhabi police image.

Last month, Abu Dhabi police also opened a tourist police station at Warner Bros. Amusement Park. World Abu Dhabi.
