Dubai Mosque opens exhibition

A photo exhibition will be organized in Dubai, where images of mosques from 15 countries of the world will be shown.

The Mosque of the World exhibition, organized by Dubai Culture in collaboration with the Sheikh Mohammed Cultural Exchange Center, opens at the Jumeirah Mosque in Dubai. The exhibition will show photos of mosques from 15 countries around the world.

All works are shortlisted members of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) on Instagram.

The exhibition will be held daily from 9:30 to 20:00 (except Fridays) until October 31, 2018.

Jumeirah Mosque is one of the oldest in Dubai and the most commonly used by photographers. It was built by order of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, father of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, UAE vice president and ruler of Dubai. It can be visited not only by Muslims and it accommodates up to 1.3 thousand people.
