Chinese President to visit UAE

Chinese President to Visit United Arab Emirates Next Thursday.

Chinese President Xi Jinping will arrive in the UAE on a three-day visit next Thursday. It is worth noting that this is the first foreign visit of the Chinese leader since his re-election for a second term in March.

Sheikh Mansur bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs, emphasized the desire of the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Khalif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to develop and strengthen relations with China.

Sheikh Mansour stated that Mr. Xi Jinping plans to negotiate with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister, Vice President of the UAE and the ruler of Dubai, as well as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the UAE.

It is expected that during the talks the main focus will be on strengthening bilateral relations at all levels, given the growing strategic cooperation between the two countries.

The negotiations will also examine ways to jointly address local and international concerns of concern.

Sheikh Mansur called the visit of the Chinese president an important event, reflecting the depth of relations between the two states and the intention of the leaders of the countries to further develop them in all areas in order to realize common goals and objectives. Sheikh expressed confidence that the meeting would benefit the peoples of both countries. It should be noted that the Chinese president will be accompanied by a delegation, which will include ministers, senior officials and businessmen.
