Hotel in Dubai offers free accommodation for fire victims

One of the hotels in Dubai offered residents of the Zen Tower building, in which there was a recent fire, free check-in.

Lapita Hotel, located in the entertainment complex Dubai Parks and Resorts, offers free accommodation for all residents affected by the fire that occurred on May 13 at Zen Tower, Dubai Marina.

The hotel is ready to provide affected residents up to one week in the hotel until June 30, 2018.

Hotel accommodation includes rooms for two adults or two adults and two children.

“We are incredibly happy that the Zen Tower residents in Dubai Marina were safely evacuated from the recent fire,” said Sann Emborg, general manager of Lapita Hotel in a statement, “We would like to invite everyone who needs to stay with us for a renovation their housing. "

The fire that swept the tower on May 13 started in the kitchen on the ground floor. The head of the fire department, Khalifa Buflasa, noted that a flammable substance had ignited in the kitchen, and the fire quickly spread due to strong gusts of wind.

The first five floors of the building suffered the most.

Hundreds of residents were evacuated from the building during the incident. After they were allowed to go up to their apartments to get some of their personal belongings.
