The day before, the Dubai prosecutor’s office destroyed about 3.5 thousand tons of drugs seized by the police.
The Dubai Prosecutor, together with the police, organized the destruction of seized narcotic substances in the amount of almost 3.5 thousand tons.
Among the drugs were cocaine, heroin, opium, hashish and other substances. The order of destruction was issued by the Chief Prosecutor Hamad Al Khallafi, the Prosecutor General and the Head of the committee responsible for the trafficking of confiscated illegal goods, as well as lost items.
Drugs were confiscated during anti-drug raids.
The incineration was carried out at the Jebel Ali hazardous waste treatment plant in the presence of prosecutors, police, courts and the Dubai administration.
