Dubai police rescues family stuck in shallow water

Dubai police rescued a family of four after their ship ran aground.

An ordinary cruise turned into an emergency - a ship with a family of four got stuck near Festival City in Dubai last weekend in the evening.

The incident, according to Lieutenant Colonel Ali Abdullah Al Nakbi, director of the Dubai Marine Police Rescue Services Department, occurred under the Business Bay Bridge. Here the boat ran aground. As a result, one of the family members received minor injuries. After first aid he was taken to the nearest medical center.

Residents are advised to exercise caution on sea cruises, and in case of emergency, immediately call the emergency number 999.
