A seven-star hotel will appear in the capital of the UAE

The Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council is considering a seven-star hotel project in the capital of the Arab Emirates.

Dhabi Contracting from the UAE has announced that it intends to build a seven-star hotel in Ruwais, in the Western region of Abu Dhabi.

Bishoy Edward, COO of Dhabi Contracting, said: "We have the land and design that has been approved by Aecom. The project is currently under review by the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council."

Edward said that the project is being implemented as part of Abu Dhabi's Vision 2020 strategy.

“We have acquired land in Al Raha and Saadiyat for commercial and residential projects,” he added.

Edward noted that the Ruwais project is not the first Dhabi Contracting hotel project. The company owns the 32-story Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi in Georgia. The office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE is located in Biltmore.
