The main Shaikh Zayed transport tunnel in the UAE capital will be closed until Saturday, January 13, 2018.
Abu Dhabi police have warned that the emirate’s main tunnel, Shaikh Zayed, will be temporarily closed for four days, from Wednesday, January 10, through Saturday, January 13, 2018.
Authorities carry out the necessary maintenance and modernization. Traffic will be redirected through the Qasr Al Bahr tunnel.
On Friday, January 12, the tunnel will be closed until 11:30.
"To ensure safety and smooth traffic, we urge motorists to be careful when driving and use alternative routes," said Abu Dhabi police.
