Dubai authorities explain camping rules at Al Qudra Lakes

Dubai Municipality explained that tidy camping by Al Qudra Lakes is still allowed.

Dubai, UAE. The Dubai municipality explained that camping at Al Qudra Lakes is still permitted, but subject to certain conditions by tourists. Earlier information appeared in the media that any tourist activity in these places would be punished with a fine, primarily due to the fact that guests leave a lot of garbage.

The municipality explained that it is possible to make bonfires and grill kebabs in a popular tourist destination, however, provided that such activities do not harm the environment. In particular, it is forbidden to make bonfires in the sand, and you can only cook on the grill, which you need to clean up after yourself.

The problem is that during the rain the remains of coal and ash flow into the lakes, which, of course, harms their inhabitants - both birds and fish. Like all the garbage that tourists leave behind in the reserve. All coal remains must be collected and thrown into garbage cans after they have cooled down, the department explained.
