Emirates asks passengers from Dubai to arrive at the airport this weekend in advance

Emirates Airlines warns that hundreds of thousands of passengers will pass through Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport during the weekend, so arrive at the airport in advance.

Dubai-based airline Emirates has asked passengers to arrive at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport at least three hours before departure. So the airline is preparing for one of the busiest periods of the year.

It is expected that Emirates will serve 420 thousand passengers in this terminal this weekend from Thursday, December 14, to Saturday, December 16, and Friday will be the busiest day.

Travelers should also be aware that road and infrastructure work is ongoing in Dubai.

Passengers who will check in for a flight less than 60 minutes before the scheduled flight will not be able to board.

Emirates offers online check-in 48 hours before departure and check-in at the airport six hours before departure.

People traveling only with hand luggage should not exceed 7 kg for economy and 14 kg for business and first class luggage.

The carrier will launch additional flights to London between December 15 and January 6 to cope with increased demand from British travelers.
