From June 22 to September 2, Dubai will host the Summer Surprises Festival for the eighth time. Fun City, the gaming town of Modhesh, the symbol of the Festival, will open its doors at the World Trade Center.

The largest emirate shopping centers will host performances by circus artists and musical groups, exciting contests, shows, exhibitions, lotteries, competitions and other events will be organized. Hotels will provide discounts on accommodation and additional free services. Shops will hold lotteries among buyers in which they will play apartments, expensive cars, money and gold.

And at the World Trade Center in Dubai, the city of Fun City will open its doors. The symbol of the Modhesh festival, similar to the Russian Murzilka, will again lead its friends into the world of knowledge and entertainment. Here, fascinating ideas about dinosaurs, Sinbad the Sailor's travels and other adventures will be played out.

In the craft zone, kids will be able to do painting, painting pictures, calligraphy and create their own greeting cards. In the sports part of Fun City, they will find a swimming pool, a trampoline, a soccer field, a special climbing wall and a bungee. The Technology Zone will host competitions for knowledge of Word, Excel and free navigation on the Internet. The most popular places in Modhesha are Snowy Night City and Surprise Island. Here the children will find the Fun Swimming pool, a giant sand mound, the Moidodyr site and a circular track with cars.

Fun City, located in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th halls of the World Trade Center, will be open daily from 10 to 22 hours (from 14 to 22 on Fridays). Entrance to it costs 10 drh for adults and 5 drh for children.

  • The festival opens with "Flower Week" (June 22-29). In these seven days, children will appreciate the richness of the wonderful world of plants. Young guests of the Festival will learn how to make a bouquet a beautiful gift: after all, flowers have long been a symbol of hospitality in relation to all cultures and nations. In addition, they will learn to love and protect nature, and this skill is important for all family members.
  • "Week of Sweets" (June 30 - July 6) invariably captivates small and large sweet tooth. In these seven days, they will join the secrets of confectionery art, participating in many fun competitions, and learn to cook goodies for every taste.
  • "Art Week" (July 7-13), revealing the potential of the child, his talents and creative abilities, will allow him to try himself in any kind of art - cinema, theater, music and painting.
  • The “Week of Colors” (July 14–20) allows children to understand that the language of colors unites people, despite all the differences in their cultures and religions. A riot of bright wonderful colors will be accompanied by many stunning light and laser shows.
  • Ice Week (July 21-27) hosts a whole series of events (including the Ice Show), revealing to the children living in the desert country a completely mysterious world of the North.
  • During the "Advent Week" (July 28 - August 3), all family members will experience the thrill of participating in sea trips. You will find a lot of competitions, treasure hunts and other trials that require dexterity, ingenuity and mutual assistance between competing teams.
  • "Cartoon Week" (August 4-10) will allow children to meet the well-known characters of Walt Disney; Warner Brothers and Spacetoon also will not stand aside. The heroes of these cartoons are known to have a very strong influence on the inner world of children, full of games and fantasies.
  • The Cultural Heritage Week (August 11-17) is designed to introduce children and adults to the values ​​and traditions of the Arab world. The program of these seven days will include a show of historical costumes and various national funs, including falconry. You will hear performances of folklore ensembles performing folk songs, and you will see wedding ceremonies of all the Persian Gulf peoples.
  • During the “Week of Knowledge” (August 18-24), curious children will be able to penetrate even deeper into the world of knowledge, realizing how closely their daily lives are connected with the achievements of science. In a relaxed atmosphere, they will remember the information received at school lessons, and get an idea of ​​modern technology.
  • The festival ends with the week “Back to School” (August 25 - September 2). During these seven days, the rested children will prepare to return to their desks. The whole family will be able to participate in fun contests combining knowledge and craftsmanship in the game.
