SAND, AS IN THE DESERT, WHERE IT IS LOT, ALSO ON THE COAST OF THE GULF, WHERE IT IS SOMETHING SOMETHING LITTLE LITTLE. HEAT. BETWEEN THERE, NO ONE CANCELED THE CELEBRATION OF THE RUSSIAN CHRISTMAS. AGAIN! ITS SPECIALLY ORGANIZED A TEAM OF CREATIVE AND FUN PEOPLE UNDER THE NAME OF "USSR". It was they who inspired the Russian-speaking Diaspora of Dubai and the neighboring emirates, inviting all who wish to mark their beloved Orthodox holiday in a friendly way.
According to the organizers, the main “highlight” of the festive program was to become the popular group “Disco Crash”. And she became! This legendary group has won many music awards, the most recent of which were the Muz-TV and Golden Gramophone 2007 awards for the song Malinkimalinki, performed by a duet with Zhanna Friske and marked as Best Duet and Best Clip. The clip is really wonderful, so kind and fabulous. Here we met with the main characters of this fairy tale.
Taking the opportunity (after all, emergency workers do not come to Dubai every day), we asked the guys for a briefing. By the way, thanks to the organizers, for their assistance, and to the emergency workers themselves for agreeing to meet with us literally half an hour before going on stage.

Guys, how will you please the Dubai audience? Old hits or something new?
NT: Firstly, we will delight the audience by arriving in Dubai. And if they want to see us, then for them it will be a joy, at least. A.S .: The second joy is that we sing both old songs and new
NT: The third joy is that Alexei Serov recently finished master classes at the Bolshoi Theater ballet school, and today at the concert he will appear as a little swan. And everyone will see it.
Alexei, will you perform with Lolita? She also amazes the audience with her one number in a black ballet tutu?
A.S .: And Lolita too? Well, I don’t even know what to say. It has probably become fashionable now. But in the ballet class, for some reason, I did not see her. What new songs did you bring with you to Dubai?
N.T .: All two. I just don’t know which of our songs are new to you, but the most recent song in our program is Serenade, and we will sing it today. About love.
And who writes in your group?
NT: Yes, this “demon” with glasses (pointing to Alexei Ryzhov).
A.S .: Everything writes and writes, writes and writes. Then a question for the author. Alexei, what is the reason for the sharp transition from funny songs to lyrical? Is it that you have grown up?
A. R.: I have matured a long time ago.
A.S .: No, he is already old with us. This is Nikolai and I, young, and he is so serious, old.
Before the group "Disco Crash" was created, did you DJ and play in KVN and conduct music programs on the radio? What made you change your business?
A. S.: Thirst for profit, of course. And it was she who brought you to Dubai?
N. T.: Yes, in general, what's the difference, Dubai or, for example, Krasnodar? I believe that it is small, but still there. Seven or eight years ago, there was neither such a large Russian-speaking audience, nor concert venues ready to receive artists from different countries, including pop groups.
N. T.: You are right in this, and in general, of course, we are very pleased that we have already played for Russian communities in America, Germany, and Greece. In the United Arab Emirates we give the first such concert when people can just buy tickets and come. Today I drove from the airport in a car and thought that Valery Meladze would speak here, the day after us. And suddenly the following thought came: “Have we really broken through this country?” Finally, Russian pop music came to the Emirates. So, we will come here more than once. And other artists will follow us. I am glad that we have another venue where you can speak. It's just great.
Now a lot of young performers are entering the stage - winners of various contests, graduates of the Star Factory and so on. You won your audience many years ago. Tell me, who is your viewer?
NT: We were in a fur store this afternoon, and middle-aged women and children 12–13 years old came up to take autographs. Here is our audience. We don’t make music specifically for fans of punk rock or R&B. We make music for everyone. The main task is for everyone to have fun. And joyfully.
Many try to write funny music, but not everyone succeeds. What's the secret?
N. T.: The secret in our composer. A.S .: He is so wonderful here (he points to Aleksey Ryzhov). An outstanding, talented, amazing person.
N. T.: Cheerful!
A.S .: If you knew, he is so beautiful! Yes, Alex?
N. T.: In fact, all this of course, Lyokha, who composed music, and then we pulled ourselves together.
Are you very moody artists? What special things do you usually include in your rider?
A.S .: Nothing special, in fact, we do not require. Our rider is very clear and correct. There are no limousines, no helicopters, no planes, no diamonds.
It’s just clearly written what needs to be done to make the concert a good one. This applies to the organizers, so that the artists were satisfied, went on stage in a normal mood.
NT: But in vain, by the way, there is nothing special. For example, I collect badges. It was necessary to play prank and bring it to the rider. Then I would have had beautiful icons with views or the emblem of Dubai. You can do this in every city, then I would have a collection of badges from all the cities where we toured. But I didn’t act up, and the guys told me not to show off, but to be like everyone else. Modest.
Yes, sorry. True, there is no coat of arms of Dubai, there is a coat of arms of the UAE, which depicts two symbols of the country - a falcon and a dhow boat. Now, by the way, a competition has been announced to create a new coat of arms of the country.
A. S.: In fact, the Emirates should not change anything in their coat of arms. There is a story, and it does not need to be rewritten or redrawn. This is the same as demolishing monuments. History must be respected. If they painted a falcon in the early 70s, when they built the country, then let it be so. Then their children will grow up with a sense of respect for their own country.
What is needed for you to come to us, the Emirate’s audience, not only during the New Year holidays?
N. T.: It all depends on the organizers of the tour and on our work schedule.
A.S .: We can come here just to relax. Personally, I have already rested in the Emirates a couple of times.
Since you have time to relax, which countries do you prefer?
N. T.: Exotic.
Emirates is also an exotic country?
A.S .: For us, probably, yes. Here is a completely different world. People are completely different. Life, traditions, history. Everything is different. Of course, this is exotic.
During short visits to the country, are you unlikely to get to know her better? Moreover, over the years, Dubai is becoming more and more like New York.
NT: And it’s good that it looks like. To go far to New York, closer here. That's all those who like in New York and go here - to Dubai. Wow.
A.S .: We like it in New York. So like in Dubai.

After such an inspired congratulation, we persuaded the guys to take a picture, as in childhood, "under the Christmas tree." The picture, in our opinion, was a success.
And then there was a wonderful Christmas concert with jokes, practical jokes and the traditional "New Year" from Disco Crash. More than 350 spectators happily applauded the artists from the audience. Among the participants were Vladimir Zhirinovsky and his entire team, whose appearance at this evening was an unexpected surprise for everyone.
The hosts of the evening were the stars of the Muz-TV channel Lera Kudryavtseva and Andrey Razygraev. Their professionalism and the ability to subtly feel the audience here were at their best. Sparkling, good humor pleased the audience throughout Christmas evening. During the auction, they managed to sell for almost 40 thousand dirhams last year's melted snowman, from which only water and a nose-carrot remained. Since the auction was comic, the money was returned to the owner. There were other contests for the program. Two lucky girls (both girls were named Diana) managed to win luxurious sets of jewelry with pearls and diamonds from Pinctada, the sponsor of Russian Christmas. Of great interest was the display of a collection of fashionable clothes from the American company ABS and designer Allen Schwarz, created especially for Hollywood stars at the Oscars. The entire collection presented was sold right in the evening!
The snow-white and sparkling decor of the hall, exquisite table setting, a special Christmas menu, and, finally, the grandiose festive fireworks that illuminated the night sky above the Burj Al Arab Hotel, did not leave anyone indifferent.
A surprise for everyone was the emergence of "incomprehensible" incomparable Lolita. She performed all her most famous, as well as new songs. The guests of the evening didn’t want to let the star go for a long time, and she went out for an encore a couple of times and sang the song “Send it to ...”, which everyone loved. In a word, the holiday was a success! And not without our participation, by the way.
