Russian Prime Minister and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi meet in Kaluga

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin met with General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces in the Russian city of Kaluga on Tuesday June 24, according to the emirate news agency Emirates News Agency.

During a meeting at the government headquarters in Kaluga, Vladimir Putin and Sheikh Mohammed Al Nahyan discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and Russia and ways to expand them, especially in the field of economics and investment. Sheikh Mohammed noted the friendly relations between the two countries and their continued growth in various fields. In a conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin praised the economic development of the United Arab Emirates and expressed hope for further strengthening of relations between the two countries.

Sheikh Mohammed and Vladimir Putin also discussed mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of exchange of information and advanced technologies, as well as opportunities for Russia to take advantage of the UAE's experience in trade and economics.
