Fashion show Esmod - Made in UAE

Thousands of guests gathered for the Made in UAE fashion show, held by the famous French couturier Esmod in the atrium of Wafi Mall on June 22 this year.

Ten young designers - graduates of the Esmod school from eight countries of the world presented luxurious graduation works to the audience, after which they received diplomas for the bachelor's degree from Esmod BA Degree, certified by the French Ministry of Education and the Paris School of Design ESMOD International.

The fashion show, in which more than 90 models appeared in creative outfits from young designers, pleased everyone present with their brightness and originality. After an elegant fashion show, the best students of this year were awarded prestigious awards in the nominations: Stage & Movie Costume ("Stage and Movie Costume"), New couture & Haute Couture, Ready-to-Wear.

"Today we are handing diplomas to the first graduates of the Dubai Esmod school, who for three years were trained in the specialties of fashion designer and cutter-designer," said Director and founder of the Esmod French couturier school Tamara Hostel, who came in a dress from the famous Lebanese designer Valid Atalla. “We are the only university in the Middle East where everyone can get the best education in fashion design in the world. This amazing defile of our graduates, presented at Wafi, is direct proof of this.”

The fashion defile jury was represented by: President of Esmod International Satoru Nino, Commercial Director of Chritian Lacroix Frank Dukwinn, Director of Galeries Lafayette Dubai Bernard Hoffman, Chairman of Al Ansari Group Aisa Al Ansari, artist Frederick Molenak, costume designer Dominic Borg, fabric designer Stefan Cove , clothing restoration specialist Abdel Halim.

To date, students from 49 countries of the world study at the Dubai branch of the famous Parisian design school Esmod, of which more than 40% are from the Persian Gulf and the UAE.
