The first Japanese fruit store, Oishii Nippon ("Taste of Japan") officially opened in late September on the ground floor of the small luxury shopping center Jumeirah Center.At the opening ceremony of the new store, first introduced to the Dubai market by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, the acting came specially Consul General of Japan in the UAE Kenji Saito.
The first Oishii Nippon store is distinguished not only by the fact that its assortment offers the best fresh fruits delivered directly from Japan, but also in the form in which they are offered. All fruits are packed in very original, functional and colorful gift bags in the national traditional Furoshiki style, symbolizing respect for each customer.
