Jaquet Droz - Anniversary at Petrovsky Passage

The first branded boutique of Jaquet Droz, opened in the largest Moscow shopping center by the Petrovsky Passage by the Russian group Bosco di Ciliegi and the world's largest group of Swiss watch manufacturers Swatch Group, celebrated its first anniversary in November 2009. From the day it appeared in 1738 to the present, the watch brand Jaquet Droz has retained the innovative spirit and aesthetic sophistication inherent in its creator and founder, Pierre Jacques Droz, who is still considered the pioneer of watchmaking. This ingenious inventor, with his extraordinary and amazing vision of his work, was able to forever conquer the royal courts of Europe, Russia and China with the help of unique automatic machines, the most famous of which were "Writing Boy", "Girl Playing the Organ" and "Drawing Boy" as well as animated clocks with singing birds and fountains and music clocks.

The exclusive spirit of the Manufacture Jaquet Droz watch factory has been maintained for three centuries, as evidenced by the limited edition Numerus Clausus collection. Jaquet Droz watch is always a unique combination of original and unique design, unusual materials and unexpected and sophisticated machining.

As part of the celebration of the first anniversary of the Jaquet Droz boutique in Petrovsky Passage, guests were given a unique opportunity to learn the essence of the Jaquet Droz philosophy. He was shown a watch illustrating almost all stages of the brand’s development, starting from the period of the Enlightenment and ending with the Baselworld 2009 collection.
