UAE government will focus on the development of northern emirates

The UAE authorities have decided to prioritize the development of infrastructure in the northern emirates of the country, namely in Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain.

The UAE's Minister of Economics, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, said that "the federal government will pay closer attention to the development of the economy in the northern emirates." According to the minister, the UAE authorities will strive to create new jobs in this region for citizens of the country. As a first step, the government promised in March this year to spend US $ 1.6 billion on the development of electricity and water supply systems in the northern region of the UAE.

As you know, the main population is concentrated in the more developed emirates of Dubai and Abu Dhabi: a rich infrastructure attracts both foreigners and local residents. In this regard, it is planned to organize special projects for the development of the economy in the northern emirates, which will help to increase the level of infrastructure development and attract more UAE citizens to work here in various sectors.

It should be noted that, despite the relatively small number of local residents living in the United Arab Emirates, their income level is among the highest in the world - it amounts to more than US $ 47 thousand per capita.
