The UAE will appear before the court a maid who killed the daughter of her employer

In the United Arab Emirates, a domestic worker was charged with the intentional killing and torture of her employer's nine-month-old daughter.

An investigation was launched in the UAE against a 28-year-old maid of Indonesian descent.

The woman is accused of intentionally beating the nine-month-old daughter of the employer, which led to the death of the girl. According to the case file, the maid beat the child, threw him to the floor, and then struck the head with a third-party object. The girl was taken to Al Qassimi Hospital, where she died from injuries in the intensive care unit.

During a medical examination, internal bleeding and a fracture of the base of the skull were revealed

However, the maid denies the allegations, although she confessed during police interrogation.

The girl’s father turned to the police immediately, learning that violent acts led to death. He said that he suspected the maid because she spent all the time with the child, since his wife, the girl’s mother, was in her seventh month of pregnancy and could not care for her. He also said that surveillance cameras were installed in his house everywhere except the bedroom, and the maid, knowing this, beat the girl in this room.

“We did not imagine that the girl was beaten by the maid, although one day we noticed bruises on her body,” said the father.

However, in a medical institution, the doctor assured him that the bruises were due to vaccination.

The man added that the police found many objects of worship related to witchcraft from the accused after her arrest.

Presiding Judge Hussein Al Usovi adjourned the case until his parents and the maid testified.
