8 out of 10 residents of Dubai called themselves happy

About 83% of Dubai residents consider themselves happy and hope that they will remain so after 5 years.

Dubai, UAE. Eight out of ten Dubai residents said they were happy, say the results of the Champions of Happiness study conducted by the Dubai Smart Office. At the same time, about 95% said they intend to remain happy for the next five years.

According to Aisha bin Bishr, director of the Dubai Smart Office, the government’s efforts are aimed at making 95% of the population happy in Dubai by 2021. In particular, scientific and technical innovations introduced by the government of the emirate will affect this.

The study, during which 2000 respondents were interviewed, was conducted this summer. Details of the study, including its method and demographics of the participants, were not disclosed.
